Entrance to the villa is via steps leading to a
spacious glazed naya and further terrace which offer
panoramic views. It is equipped with a dining table
and chairs and a casual seating area and provides
a most pleasant area to while away the hours as
well as giving a perfect backdrop for meals or drinks.
A
glazed door leads to the entrance hall which is
furnished with a Spanish Entrada unit and large
mirror.
A
curved arch leads to the attractive tower end of the
lounge with a high beamed cathedral ceiling and curved
windows. An impressive fireplace occupies one side
of the room together with two roomy sofas whilst a
further area affords more seating and another matching
sofa with views straight out to the mountains. The
decoration and furnishings have been chosen with care
and attention to detail and provide a stylish but
relaxing feel. Lamps by local artisans provide the
finishing touches and help to give this villa its
special character.
Echoing
the curved design of the lounge an arch leads to two
bedrooms and a bathroom.
The villa is air conditioned and central heated (metered
separately as required) and comes equipped with television,
video player hi-fi and dvd player. There is a selection
of tapes ,videos, cds and books for guest's use.
A
further one bedroom studio apartment is accessed externally
directly from the pool terrace. This contains an attractive
twin bedded room with fitted wardrobes together with
its own sitting room accessed via a curtained archway.
A small snacks kitchenette with fridge and sink and
a large shower room with wc and hand basin make this
a very useful amenity for couples or teenagers who want
that extra bit of space whilst still being close at
hand.
The pleasant
small resort of Moraira with lovely beaches and marina
and the livelier resort of Calpe with its superb setting,
beautiful beaches and lovely old town are only a few
minutes drive from the villa.
The nearest supermarket is also only a few minutes
away. Restaurants and bars are numerous covering all
tastes and budgets.
The
area is about 1 hrs drive from Alicante airport and
has some of the most beautiful coastal views on the
Costa Blanca. There are three golf courses locally
with a further planned and a water sports centre offering
all kinds of activities very close by.
